Common Names: Tea Rose, Sweetheart Rose, Spray Rose

Description: With almost 120 varieties available, roses are a classic favorite. Roses span the color spectrum with varieties available in all shades of reds, pinks, purples, oranges, corals, peaches and whites. Tea roses open 3 to 4 inches. Stems can be 12 — 30 inches. Spray roses can have several flowers on one stem. Depending on the variety, roses typically last 4 — 7 days.

Description: The main stems of these cut flowers are 2 to 3 feet long and branch into four to six short pedicels; each holding two to four flower buds. Colors include yellow, apricot, orange, salmon, pink, red, mauve, lavender, purple, cream, white and bi-colors. Alstroemeria typically last one to two weeks.

| Ordering Advice: |

Make sure you have the complete street address of the recipient. The florist's delivery person cannot make a delivery to "the big white house next to the park" easily. If the address is for a large office building, specify the building name since these types of buildings often do not have easily seen street numbers.

While some florists will take an order to be delivered in the A.M. or P.M., it is usually impossible to have it delivered at a particular time of the day (i.e., 2:00 P.M.). Because of traffic, pending funerals, weather and many other things, it very difficult to predict where the delivery van will be from one minute to the next. If the delivery is for someone at a place of employment, give the florist the time the person will be there at work.
